Not a SEBI-registered adviser

Trading in futures and options is risky

SEBI's study of individual traders in the equity futures and options segment (September 2024) found that 93% of them made net losses over FY22–FY24. You can lose more than you put in when you sell options or trade futures.

Simulated results are not real results

  • Past performance, real or simulated, does not predict future results.
  • Trades are filled at recorded prices. Real orders can get worse prices (slippage), may not fill at all in thin markets, and pay brokerage, taxes and exchange charges that the simulator may not include.
  • Stop-losses and targets are checked against each minute's recorded high and low; when one minute reaches both, recorded 1-second prices (from 2018) decide which came first, else the stop is assumed first. Real stop orders can fill away from their trigger price in fast markets.
  • Options still open at expiry settle at their intrinsic value against the closing price. In reality NSE stock options are settled by physical delivery of the shares, which needs margin and funds this tool does not model.
  • Margin requirements, margin calls and intraday exchange limits are not modelled.

Data

Prices, volumes and open interest are historical exchange data (NSE and BSE) as recorded minute by minute. Implied volatility, Greeks, model prices for strikes that did not trade, probabilities and payoffs are our own calculations. Data can contain gaps and errors; we do not guarantee that it is complete or accurate.
