Algrow Technologies ("Algrow", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Algrow platform. This policy is compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.

Account Information

Name, email address, phone number (optional), and password hash when you create an account.

Trading Data

Strategy configurations, backtest results, order history, and portfolio data generated through your use of the Platform.

Broker Connection Data

API keys and access tokens for connected broker accounts. These are encrypted at rest and used solely to execute trades on your behalf.

Usage Data

Pages visited, features used, session duration, device information, and IP address for analytics and service improvement.

Payment Data

Payment information is processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not store your credit card or bank account details directly.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features
• Execute trades through connected broker APIs as directed by your strategies
• Process subscription payments and manage your account
• Send transactional emails (order confirmations, security alerts)
• Analyze aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve our services
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Broker APIs — Your encrypted credentials are transmitted to your broker to execute trades
• Payment Processors — Cashfree Payments for subscription billing
• Analytics Services — Aggregated, anonymized usage data only
• Legal Requirements — When required by law, SEBI regulations, or court orders

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of broker credentials at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Hashed passwords using bcrypt
• Role-based access controls for all systems
• Regular security audits and monitoring

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trading data (backtest results, order history) is retained for up to 5 years for regulatory compliance. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. The Platform functions correctly with only essential cookies.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data held by us
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf
