Rules we tested
At 09:20 mark the call and put nearest ₹100; buy whichever rises 50% (both if both), stop 50% below entry, sell at 09:25 next day. We skip entries in a contract expiring that day and use the next week's contract instead.
Note: Profit is fat-tailed: a few large gap days make most of it. The curve includes 2 trades (≈₹6.8k) later excluded for missing data.
Method
1-minute option data, signal on a minute close above the trigger and fill at the next minute's open, broker charges incl. STT and taxes, 0.5% slippage per order, stops filled at the stop or worse on gaps.
- 1-minute historical NSE/BSE option and futures data; each video's rules coded exactly as taught, with stated assumptions where the video left a gap.
- Signals on a candle's close are filled at the next minute's open (unless the rules say otherwise); stops and targets are checked against each minute's high and low.
- Real broker charges, STT, exchange fees, stamp duty and GST deducted on every order; lot size as it was on each trade date.
- Results are per lot unless stated. No leverage, compounding or position sizing beyond the video's own rules.
