Connect your 5paisa account to Algrow using the 5paisa API.

Prerequisites

Active 5paisa trading account
API access enabled on your 5paisa account
TOTP enabled for automated authentication

Contact 5paisa support to enable API access if not already active on your account.

Generate API Credentials

Get API Credentials

Log in to 5paisa Trade Station and navigate to the API section. Note your Client Code, Encryption Key, and User Key.

Enable TOTP

Set up TOTP authentication using an authenticator app. Note the TOTP secret for automated login via Algrow.

Connect to Algrow

Enter Credentials in Algrow

Go to Broker → Connect Broker → select 5paisa. Enter your Client Code, Encryption Key, User Key, and TOTP Secret.

Authentication

Algrow authenticates using your credentials and TOTP to establish a trading session.

Test Your Connection

Confirm green connection status on Broker page
Place a test order via forward testing
Verify the order in 5paisa's order book

Troubleshooting

Authentication Errors

Double-check your Client Code and Encryption Key. These are case-sensitive. Ensure TOTP is correctly configured and your device clock is synchronized.

Session Expiry

5paisa sessions expire daily. Algrow automatically re-authenticates using stored TOTP credentials before market hours.
